Family Capital Advisors is the culmination of 10 years of working in the financial advisory business and 6 years of working in the corporate world. Starting from a corporate prospective and later transitioning into the brokerage world, I quickly found these business models did not necessarily prioritize client relationships, but instead stressed productivity. I knew there was a better way to be a trusted advisor for my clients.

The vision for Family Capital Advisors is focused on the principal that a financial advisor must learn and consider all financial matters that face his or her clients – investments, insurance, estate planning, monthly expenditures, taxes, debt, retirement, emergencies, etc. I know financial plans can only be furnished after consideration of all financial aspects of a client’s life. Being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, I have knowledge in all of these areas to assist my clients with every financial planning need.

I believe to truly be a trusted advisor, I must be confident in the decisions I make with my clients. That confidence comes from my approach to financial strategy. I am very confident in my methodology because I follow it in my own life. When managing assets which my clients have worked their entire life to earn, I have a great responsibility to protect those assets. My clients should expect nothing less than me practicing what I preach. In fact, just ask to see my credit score and I am happy to show you.

Trust and transparency are tantamount in an advisor-client relationship. I am amazed that no potential client has ever asked to see my finances. I do not deal in perceptions but financial reality. As such, Family Capital Advisor's managing director and portfolio manager, Summer Roberts and I have built a close, personal relationship with our clients. They trust us and we are open with them.
